A gorgeous setting, a beautiful couple from Atlanta, GA., and many smiling faces. This was truly an amazing wedding that we had the honor of catering. Danielle and Chris are a wonderful couple and we loved every minute of working with them to make their fairytale wedding come true. The ceremony took place in front of 149 friends and family members at Grace Cathedral, and from there the guests were shuttled to Legion of Honor at the Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco to party the night away.
Upon arrival, everyone was greeted with our signature hors d’oeuvres. Tray passed Cuban Yellow Fin Tuna Ceviche, Smoked Chicken and Bay Shrimp Paella Bites, Crispy Fried Chicken and Buttermilk Waffle Bites, Truffled Mac and Cheese Bites, and Twice Baked Potato Cups with Truffled Brie were presented to the guests to whet their appetites for the main course, while sipping our White Peach Sangria and Pink Grapefruit Sparkler.
Once seated, Global Gourmet served a Crimson Watermelon and Gold Heirloom Tomato Napoleon Salad before the main course of Red Wine Braised Ossobuco of Creekstone Natural Beef, Custom Created Pan Roasted California Sea Bass “Paella” and Roasted Portobello Wellington.
Global Gourmet designed and created the red velvet wedding cake as well as the groom’s cake which was covered in camoflage to represent his love of hunting. The guests were welcome to further satisfy their sweet tooths with S’mores On A Stick, Southern Inspired Mini Pecan and Peach Pies, Cold Milk and Chocolate Chip Cookie Shooters and Gold Glitter Rice Crispy Treats.
